It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris Antonelli, who left us peacefully in the early hours of Monday, March 25th, at 1:22 am. 55 years old, Chris was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend to all who knew him.
Born in The Bronx, NYC, Sept 30th 1968, to Dennis & Margot Antonelli, Chris grew up nurturing a profound love for baseball, a passion that stayed with him throughout his life. This love found its ultimate expression in his unwavering support for the New York Yankees & Giants, teams he followed with devotion, mirroring the loyalty and dedication he showed to every aspect of his life.
Chris played baseball growing up, a hobby that taught him the values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship - values he carried into every aspect of his life, especially in how he raised his children and navigated his career.
Professionally, Chris dedicated his career to the tech industry, where his innovative spirit and tireless work ethic left a lasting impact. His colleagues will remember him not just for his contributions to the field but also for his mentorship, kindness, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he worked with.
Above all, Chris was a family man at heart. He is survived by his loving children, Joshua (30), Montana (25), Rocco (22), Storm (18), and River (11), who were the center of his world. Chris loved his children with all of his heart, a testament to the kind of man he was - generous, compassionate, and always putting his family first. He also leaves behind his mother, Margot, sisters, Denise, Margot and sister-in-law Donna, along with countless friends who were like family to him.
As we mourn the loss of Chris, we also celebrate his life, cherishing the memories and moments he gifted us. His legacy of kindness, passion, and love will forever live on through his family, friends, and all the lives he touched.
A memorial service will be held on March 30, 2024 at Vander Plaat in Wyckoff, NJ from Noon-4pm. Let us come together to honor the memory of Chris, a remarkable man whose presence enriched our lives and whose spirit will always guide us.
