David Warner Obituary

David E. Warner,81, of Hawthorne, NJ passed away on Thursday February 19,2026.

Born in Paterson, NJ and raised in Hawthorne, David spent most of his life in the community he enjoyed. He worked for 37 years as a film processor and developer with Eastman Kodak in Fair Lawn. David continued his dedicated work ethic with TD Bank for another 12 years until his retirement in 2015.

David was a proud Air Force veteran who served his country with honor during the Vietnam War.

An avid train collector, David took great joy in building and displaying his model train collection, a hobby that brought him relaxation. He also found happiness camping-exploring all along the East Coast, a feat he was particularly proud of and memories he cherished.

Above all else David’s family was his main priority, taking pride in providing and supporting his family.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen T. (Felber) Warner. Dear father of Brian D. Warner and his wife Kathleen, Beth Straubel and her husband Christopher, Christopher S. Warner and his wife Danielle, and Jonathan Warner. Cherished grandfather of Logan, Caitlyn, Ryan, Sean, Nicholas, Jackson, and Lucas. Brother of Sara Sutherland and her husband Richard, and the late William Warner and his surviving wife Lois. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
