Michael T. Kida

Michael T. Kida, 52 of Midland Park, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife Victoria, daughter Charlotte, father Thomas, mother Dorothy, brother Kenneth and Kenneth's wife Christine and their daughters Kaitlyn and Alyssa , his parents-in-law Victor and Madeline Canzani, sister-in-law Cassidy and her husband Chris and their son Quinn.

Born September 12, 1973, in Paterson, New Jersey he was a graduate of Paramus Catholic High School, Rowan University and received his Graduate Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Computer Sciences.  He enjoyed a career as a Computer Systems Consultant with Marc Mintz & Associates.

Michael's personal accomplishments included obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout and completing many half marathons, including several at Disney World in Florida, which he was especially proud of.

Services will be held at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257  Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, New Jersey, Wednesday, February 25th from 3-7.  A funeral mass will be held at the Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St., Midland Park on Thursday February 26th at 10AM. 

Internment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, New Jersey.
